About Designing
Experiences
& Interactions

I am Marine, founder of the studio. I created this space to give life to poetic patterns, where the surface becomes a territory for visual exploration. My work exists at the intersection of art and illustration, with constant attention to coherence and mastery, from conception to production.
I combine traditional tools and contemporary technologies to bring forth new and distinctive forms. Each creation is shaped through emotion and narrative, built with precision and subtlety.
The studio’s approach is rooted in an ongoing pursuit of nuance and accuracy: allowing patterns to carry a lasting story, in resonance with the aesthetic and cultural demands of our time.

FAQ Any questions ?

Do you offer patterns from a catalog ?

Réponse Yes. A selection of patterns is available under license.
A private portfolio can be shared upon request. After an initial exchange, you will receive a seasonal preview of new designs and an invitation to discover the latest collection online.

How does a collaboration work ?

Each project begins with a discussion to clarify positioning, technical requirements, and timeline. The number of pattern proposals and variations is defined according to your needs and approved in advance.
A contract is drafted and signed only once the proposed creative direction fully aligns with your expectations and the designs are validated for production. Each creation is conceived from the outset to be both artistically strong and technically viable for manufacturing. If needed, we determine together the most suitable printing method for your project and ensure a smooth process in coordination with printers and your workshops.

What are the production timelines ?

Timelines vary depending on the nature of the project, the complexity of the pattern, and the number of variations requested.
For a bespoke creation, you should generally allow between 2 and 3 weeks, including the research phase, creative development, and initial adjustments.
For a catalog license, a shorter timeframe is possible, particularly for technical or color adaptations.
The schedule is defined together at the start of the collaboration, taking into account your collection deadlines as well as the studio’s planning. This approach ensures a smooth, well-managed process that respects production constraints.

Do you take industrial constraints into account ?

Yes. Printing methods (digital, rotary, sublimation, screen printing, etc.) as well as technical parameters are integrated from the very beginning of the design process.
Each pattern is developed with real production constraints in mind: repeat structure, number of colors, line precision, fabric stretch, breathability, placement, matching, and sensitive areas. Anticipating these factors helps limit last-minute adjustments, avoid time loss in the workshop, and ensure the quality of the final result.
The goal is to reduce friction between design and production, so the artistic intention remains fully intact through to the finished product.

Your approach combines advanced technology and artistic sensitivity. Isn’t that contradictory ?

On the contrary.
Technology is a tool for exploration and precision, never an end in itself.
At LEXA GALBI, advanced tools—whether digital or algorithmic—open up new formal possibilities, accelerate certain research phases, and refine structural details.
But the artistic direction, the selection, the rhythm, and the sense of balance remain deeply human.
This tension between technical mastery and sensitivity lies at the heart of the studio. It allows for the creation of contemporary patterns without losing depth or coherence.
